Plumb It Forward is our way of giving back to the Bayside and Melbourne communities that have supported X1 Plumb for more than 15 years. Each year, we set aside a number of free essential plumbing repairs for local residents who are doing it tough, no catch and no fine print, just help where it’s genuinely needed.
A Message From Max
“I started X1 Plumb because I wanted to build a business people could trust, and that has to mean something beyond paying jobs. Over the years I’ve met plenty of people who needed a repair they simply couldn’t afford right then, a pensioner with a failed hot water system, a family with a burst pipe and nothing left in the budget for it. Plumb It Forward is our way of saying yes to some of those calls, on us. It’s not a marketing exercise, it’s part of how we run this business.”

What We Cover
Plumb It Forward covers free essential plumbing repairs, things like burst pipes, blocked drains, failed hot water systems and unsafe gas fittings, for Bayside and Melbourne residents facing genuine financial or personal hardship.
It isn’t designed to cover full renovations or upgrades, but for the essential repairs that keep a home safe and liveable, we’ll do what we can to help.
Who It’s For
We consider applications from pensioners, people experiencing family violence, those facing sudden job loss or medical hardship, and anyone in the community going through a genuinely difficult stretch. Every situation is different, so we assess each request individually and treat every enquiry with discretion.
